What is DocBits MasterData?

The Master Data Lookup in DocBits is the central location where all relevant master data is stored – from supplier information and order data to individual business data. Thanks to an intuitive user interface, data can not only be viewed quickly, but also searched and managed in a targeted manner.

To open the Master Data Lookup, simply navigate to:

Settings → Document Processing → Master Data Lookup

Four ways to store master data

DocBits offers flexible options for integrating master data:

  • BOD Input Data Master data can be imported automatically via BODs – directly from your Infor ERP system.
  • ERP API Data If this option is enabled, DocBits retrieves master data from the Infor system in real time via API calls.
  • Imported data CSV files can be uploaded manually to use your own master data in DocBits.
  • Master data provided by DocBits DocBits provides some master data entries preconfigured so that they are ready for immediate use.

With DocBits MasterData, you can not only display data, but also search it in a targeted manner:

  • Search for specific values
  • Use intelligent algorithms for partial matches and keywords
  • Search within specific columns
  • Select the appropriate search algorithm for more precise results

In the Actions area of DocBits MasterData, master data can be managed even more efficiently:

  • Download master data as CSV
  • Update aliases
  • Hide empty columns
  • Customize user-defined column names
