The process begins with DocBits receiving invoices either directly from the user or via email import. The software classifies the invoices and automatically extracts all relevant information required for further processing.
Once the information has been extracted, it is provided to the finance department for validation. Here the finance department can check the extracted data, select the appropriate cost centres and define the corresponding approvers.
The DocBits workflow engine manages the entire approval process. Depending on the invoice amount, the documents are forwarded to the correct approvers. This component also ensures that the allocation of approvers is efficient and traceable.
