Directly in Power BI, Tableau, and more.

- Quick access to your DocBits data

Those who use data can make better decisions – but only if access to the right information is easy, secure, and flexible. With our new “Data Access for Power BI” feature, we deliver exactly that: You connect your DocBits data directly to Power BI, Tableau, or Excel and create dashboards, reports, and analyses without any detours.

Access your data – securely and efficiently

DocBits allows external BI tools to connect directly to our data. Users get read-only access to Postgres or ClickHouse tables that contain all relevant information about documents and their processing. This not only makes your analyses faster, but also more reliable.

Two options for different requirements

We offer two independent read-only data sources so you can choose the right solution for your needs:

Read-Only PostgreSQL

  • Contains structured operational data from document processing.
  • Ideal for relational queries and incremental reporting.
  • Activation: Settings → Document processing → Database access → DB access

ClickHouse – Direct Access

  • Optimized for analytical workloads, large amounts of data, and high query speeds.
  • Contains data from AI Dashboard and Data Warehouse, depending on activated modules.
  • Activation: Settings → Document Processing → AI Dashboard / AI Document Warehouse → ClickHouse Direct Access

After activation, you will receive:

  • Securely generated, read-only access data
  • An overview of available tables and schemas
  • Connection details such as host, port, username, password, and database
